Giving back never felt so good, especially when your new carefree lifestyle is responsible for making the giving happen.
Medici Development is proving home is not only where the heart is, home is where the heart gives. Those who invest in a new home with Medici Development can select from one of five charities to receive a $500 donation on your behalf. The promotion, which runs through the end of the Parade of Homes, March 22, 2009, is expected to generate significant income for the charities.
The five charities include:
1. American Cancer Society – Dedicated to eliminating cancer.
2. Fisher House Foundation – Supports America’s military and families in their time of need.
3. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – Dedicated to advancing cures, and the means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
4. Animal Humane Society – Dedicated to creating a more humane world for animals.
5. Feed the Children – Delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to children and families in need.
“We wanted to create a new program that uses our business to give back to the community and helps many valuable charities. Our homeowners and community members are typically very active in giving time and money to charitable organizations and we thought this would be a great way to also participate in giving back,” said Louis De Medici, Medici Development’s president.
